I LOVE Christmas. To be honest I love all holidays, but there is just something so special and magical about Christmas that makes it extra special. Curling up by the fire and watching  Hallmark Christmas movies. Drinking hot cocoa and dreaming about that special gift for a loved one, and that feeling of peace and joy that comes from reflecting on all our Savior has done for us. That and you can eat copious amounts of cheese without judgment. Don’t act like you don’t do it to.  Anyway the point is Christmas is one of my favorites. If I’m being completely honest. I would say that Thanksgiving is my ALL time favorite. And although I’m Canadian we can all agree that Americans do it better. But Christmas is right up there too.

Another thing you will come to realize about me is that I love parties. And any excuse I can get to have one I’m taking it. Just ask my husband. SO needless to say I am all over hosting at Christmas. Which means I’ve got lots of  knowledge to share with you. Like how not to thaw your turkey in a fridge that’s set to freezing only to realize the morning of you don’t have a turkey to cook. OR how to keep the little ones entertained so the “grown ups” can have a good time.
