Okay guys, I am a little late to the game here which seems to be my current trend so forgive me (hey at least I am consistent), but there’s still a few days before Father’s Day and I just had to share what we’re doing over here. This homemade BBQ sauce with free printable tags is the perfect gift for dads, grandpas, and pretty much anyone! Your little ones can actually make it (Brooklyn did!) and of course, who doesn’t love BBQ? Just in time for summer, this BBQ sauce is a win!

To be honest this homemade BBQ sauce isn’t just for Father’s Day. You can gift it for Christmas, birthdays, housewarming parties and even just make a big jar and leave it in the fridge. It’s easy, delicious, and most importantly, requires NO COOKING! Y’all are going to love it.

We love to put this sauce on chicken and ribs and the kids even love to dip their chicken nuggets in it. Serve this sauce on some BBQ ribs with a side of my creamy mac and cheese and it’s a little plate of heaven!

How to make this homemade BBQ sauce

This recipe is stupid easy and you’ll probably be done in about 5 minutes. Seriously, all you do is add all your ingredients to the bowl and mix! Pour it into a 500ml mason jar and you’re done. This homemade BBQ sauce is super easy and super fun! Perfect for Father's Day, Christmas, Birthdays and even just to have in the fridge!

Ingredients

  

• 1 ½ cups ketchup
• ¼ cup brown sugar
• 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
• 3 tbsp hp sauce
• 1 tsp pepper
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

 

• Add all your ingredients into a bowl and stir well
• Pour into a 500 ml mason jar and seal. Keep refrigerated
