Oatmeal Chocolate Cookies

These cookies are soft and chocolaty. Seriously the best cookies EVER.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 ¼ cups flour all purpose
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 3 cups quick oats
  • 1 cup dark chocolate callets

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 330 °F
  • In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and white sugar
  • Then beat in eggs and vanilla
  • In a separate bowl combine flour, baking soda, and salt. I sift just a tiny bit!
  • Stir into the creamed mixture until just blended. Mix in the quick oats and chocolate callets
  • Drop generous tablespoon sized balls onto a baking sheets lined with parchment paper
  • Bake for 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Don’t be fooled. Not a minute longer!
  • Let cookies  cool on baking sheet for a few minutes before moving
