Oatmeal Chocolate Cookies
These cookies are soft and chocolaty. Seriously the best cookies EVER.

- 1 cup butter softened
- 1 cup brown sugar packed
- ½ cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 ¼ cups flour all purpose
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 3 cups quick oats
- 1 cup dark chocolate callets
Preheat your oven to 330 °F
In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and white sugar
Then beat in eggs and vanilla
In a separate bowl combine flour, baking soda, and salt. I sift just a tiny bit!
Stir into the creamed mixture until just blended. Mix in the quick oats and chocolate callets
Drop generous tablespoon sized balls onto a baking sheets lined with parchment paper
Bake for 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Don’t be fooled. Not a minute longer!
Let cookies cool on baking sheet for a few minutes before moving
