Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • tsp vanilla
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 cup cup pecan halves

Instructions
 

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  • Add brown sugar, ground cinnamon, salt, vanilla, and water to a pan over medium heat
  • Whisk to combine and stir over medium heat until bubbly, about 1 minute
  • Add pecans and toss to coat, stirring constantly
  • Continue to toast the pecans for about 1-2 minutes, watch they don't burn!
  • Transfer the pecans to your baking sheet and spread evenly to cool
  • Break up before serving
